Design Talents is Formex’s most exciting feature where not yet established designers from Sweden and internationally can apply for a place to showcase their innovative design solutions and products to buyers, producers and media at the fair. Application process
Selection
We look at the products from the point of view of novelty in terms of idea and form, and to get a good mix of product types at the fair. The area is built in an architecturally exciting way that differs from the other stands in the hall. As a participant in Design Talents, you are welcome to participate in this area for up to three fairs.
Installation information & price
Those selected will have the opportunity to accept a stand located in the Design Talents area. The stand is ready with carpet, lighting on the rope, painted wall and the marketing name in vinyl text on the wall. After the basic design, you decorate the stand as you wish.
The stand area is 6 sqm (3×2 meters). The registration fee is 8 764 SEK excl. VAT (10 955 SEK incl. VAT). You will only be charged if you are selected.
Please note that you as an exhibitor may take orders, but no direct sales may take place in the stand as Formex is a trade fair.
Best In Show – the competition’s first prize
During each fair, the jury selects a winner, the designer who stands out among all the talents wins the Best In Show award. The winner is presented on stage during the Formex press breakfast on the opening day.
In addition to the honor, this is also included in the price:
- A stand at the next Formex (value approx. SEK 20,000)
- Advice and coaching with Ann-Louise Andrén, Creative Director at Ceannis.
- A marketing package (value 30 000 SEK) with visibility in Formex channels, during and after the fair.
