Through the shop window, the store has the opportunity to communicate with its target group already outside the store. This is a surface where you have almost unlimited opportunities to present the store – around the clock, all year round and is not just something to be filled with products but is a really good marketing channel that, properly utilized, can become the store’s most valuable surface.
This presentation gives concrete tips and good advice on different ways to work with the shop window to drive traffic to the store and increase sales.

Annica Bergman works as a Visual Merchandiser and has been running the company DEKKO AB for 25 years, specializing in retail, where she works with stores in all different industries and of all sizes with, for example, the development of store layouts, exposure in the store environment and shop windows, as well as training store staff in exposure and product presentation. She has written the book “The shop window – the face of the store” which is a handbook for those who want to learn how to create professional and selling shop windows.
