Discover Formex

Activities during Formex January 20-22, 2026

Celebrate Traditions is this year’s theme! A celebration of Swedish traditions, the changing seasons and the power of craftsmanship. A bright and sensual world takes shape where past meets future – with floral splendor, sunny table settings and summery rituals that blow away the winter cold.

At the same time, we highlight sustainable initiatives, innovation and the designers of the future, where business and responsibility go hand in hand.

Playful cake party at the entrance square

This spring’s main exhibition is designed to engage all the senses: sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch. Inspired by childhood festivities and a sense of playful opulence, classic pastry crafts meet contemporary design trends. The result is an installation that celebrates creativity, imagination and the joy of making – just like sharing a cake with others. A sensory journey from childhood feast to modern design.

Interior stylist and art director Saša Antić and set designer Niklas Hansen are the creators behind the exhibition, which interprets the spring theme Celebrate Traditions by transforming the Formex entrance square into a colorful and sensual cake party. Welcome!
