Formex Sustainability Stand in January 2025
The spring edition of Formex offered a novelty in the sustainability area – the Sustainability Stand exhibition. The 33 square meter stand was located in the entrance hall at the gates of Hall A and featured products from 16 selected companies with high sustainability ambitions.
The Sustainability Stand is created and curated by IMMA – Malin Jensen, Maria Lagerman and Maria Soxbo – who were also behind the Café Conversation Piece in the A-hall during Formex in January 2025. The trio handpicked all the companies that then had the opportunity to book their visibility. The stand is intended to help buyers, interior designers, stylists, influencers and the media who are actively looking for sustainable choices.
– As an interior designer and former shop owner, I know how difficult it is to find your way around the huge range of new products released every year. The Sustainability Stand is a perfect place to start your Formex visit, says Malin Jensen, IMMA.
IMMA selects companies and products with the widest possible range to reflect different aspects of sustainability. The range includes everything from clothing and beauty products to cleaning, candles, flowers and crafts.
– There is no general recipe for what makes a product sustainable, it varies depending on a number of factors – and it is almost impossible to be perfect on all levels as a company. But in the stand we have selected good, inspiring examples,” says Maria Lagerman, IMMA.

The Sustainability Stand is intended to become a recurring feature and is part of Formex’s growing sustainability initiative, which also includes the Formex Sustainability Award and the Sustainability Walk tour.
– “Formex has an important role as a meeting place in the industry, and the fact that sustainability is becoming increasingly important is important given how many people the fair reaches. All modern companies must work actively with the issue and hopefully Formex’s sustainability initiatives can kick-start 2025 for many companies,” says Maria Soxbo, IMMA.
