Tell us about your latest experience at the Formex Fair in January 2023!
It was my 23rd time exhibiting at the Formex Fair and I think it was the best one so far! Not only because I received so many orders, but also because it was enjoyable. I appreciated that there were not only exhibitors and lectures, but also various activities such as color theory, exhibitions, and more. During this particular fair, I noticed that Formex has developed and become even better.

Did you have any goals for exhibiting at the fair?
y primary goal was to show all my beloved retailers that I am still here and developing my business. Then of course, I also wanted to meet new and potential retailers.

What does a fair like Formex mean to Emma Sjödin Design?
It means a lot. Formex is a meeting place, not only for business but also for meeting other exhibitors. Formex is also a platform to showcase new collections and invite my network of influencers.

Har du några tips till andra företag som vill ställa ut på Formex?
Gör mycket research. Tänk efter noga vad du vill förmedla som företag. Men ha också långsiktiga mål. Ta kontakt med företag innan och bjud in. Våga vara annorlunda. Det är bara ”på ditt eget sätt” som du kan få ditt företag att gå bra.

Emma Sjödin Design etablerades 2008 och erbjuder produkter inom heminredning med fokus på textilier. ”Min ambition är att föra in konst i vardagen genom inredningsprodukter med modern och lantlig stil. Jag hämtar inspiration från detaljerna i växter och insekter så som skogssmultron, nyponrosor, prästkragar och fjärilar” – Emma Sjödin.
